Millet Flour - 70%, Wheat Flour - 30%, Salt, Water

Instructions to Use

Cooking Instructions for Millet Vermicelli


Wash the Vermicelli – Rinse the millet vermicelli in water to remove excess flour.

Soak – In a bowl, add water with a pinch of salt and soak the vermicelli for 3 to 5 minutes.

Drain – Remove the vermicelli from the water and let the excess water drain completely.

Steam – Transfer the soaked vermicelli to an idli plate or steamer and steam for 8 to 10 minutes.

Oil Coating – Once done, remove the vermicelli and sprinkle a little oil to prevent sticking.

Prepare Tadka – Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilies, and other desired seasonings.

Mix & Serve – Add the steamed vermicelli to the tadka, mix well, and serve hot.
