Crispy Sprouted Black Urad Dal Dosa


A quick, crispy dosa using Sprouted Black Urad Dal Flour from THE MILLET STORE—no long fermentation needed!


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Sprouted Black Urad Dal Flour
  • 2 cups Rice Flour (or millet flour for a healthier option)
  • ½ cup Curd (for slight fermentation, optional)
  • 2 cups Water (adjust for consistency)
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ tsp Cumin Seeds (for extra flavor, optional)
  • Oil or ghee for cooking


Steps:


1️⃣ Make Batter: Mix urad dal flour, rice flour, curd, salt, and water to form a smooth, thin batter. Rest for 15-20 minutes.

2️⃣ Heat Pan: Grease a dosa pan with oil and heat well.

3️⃣ Pour & Spread: Pour a ladle of batter and quickly spread it thin in a circular motion.

4️⃣ Drizzle Oil: Cook on medium flame until golden brown and crispy. No need to flip!
